C5, now C5 Cleaning Solutions LLC, started out as a name that the family jokingly coined for the five members of the Clark family: Father, James; Mother, Tiffany; Sons, James and Jeremiah; and daughter Danyel.

C5, known by their family and friends as “The Clark Family of 5”, decided many years ago that they wanted to leave a legacy that future generations could stand and build upon: honesty, hard work and a life of service in and out of their home.

James Clark, C5 Operations Manager, husband and father, was shown at an early age the value and benefits of hard work. Under the guidance of his late grandfather Rudolph Valentine Hinton, James learned the importance of cleaning, detailing and safe cleaning practices at the age of 12.

His grandfather Rudolph owned Hinton Janitorial Services and ensured his grandson learned every detail of the cleaning business. His grandfather did not just tell him what to do but he showed him how to do it. On May 14, 2018 C5 was born out of James’ desire to carry on his grandfather’s legacy and Tiffany’s passion to serve the Jacksonville community.

Tiffany and James understand the roadblocks that many families and small minority business owners face in the Jacksonville community. It is through C5, they will change homes, businesses and lives, one clean space at a time.
